In the kennels at West German Shepherds.com we can: keep the puppies indoors or outdoors, raise or lower the temperature, add or take away moisture in the air, make it quiet with white noise or add sound to deaden the effects of storms or machinery. We can even play classical music and serve up a latte while their nails are being trimmed. Through consistent research over 14 years we have developed protocols for every aspect of the pups well being. We have gained superior bloodlines direct from Germany, we are acquiring new breedstock to both broaden and deepen the scope of the canines that we can pair up.
We have faithfully executed our mission: to improve the breed standard, to produce stable, clear headed puppies and to prepare them for bonding with their new humans. We have hand delivered each puppy: fed, held, cleaned and weaned them, tracked and charted their progress. We have hiked and played games, tossed balls and encouraged them to play. We have climbed up and down the stairs, for the ones that were a bit afraid - we gave them plenty of encouragement and praised them exceedingly for a job well done. We have given them a safe setting as well as the opportunity to explore. We have challenged them physically and stimulated them mentally. Every single pup is my personal baby, each one has my full attention. I have awakened them with nuzzling, nurturing and human touch from day one, so they are ready to bond with you immediately.
Now its time for you to take over. Its cute when a tiny, adorable puppy jumps on your leg; not so much when a 80 pound dog does it. Train the puppy with this in mind - so that you will have the dog that you want it to become. As a new puppy owner you will experience the extreme joy of owning this breed. Set great habits, take it new places, create opportunities for the animal to learn thru socialization. Challenge yourself along the way, you will grow as a person while an exciting new chapter in your life unfolds. This little pup doesn’t yet know it's a West German Shepherd - it is the king, the champion of all dogs, but it will soon learn. In one years’ time you will cherish the relationship you have built with your German Shepherd. By then you will begin to understand the keen awareness and superior intelligence of the breed, the bond that you have created will only increase over time.
